Constructive Measures To Improve Soil Quality.

Agriculture is an important sector to the economy of any country and soil plays a major role in the growth of crops. Soil provides major and useful nutrients to the growth of plants that produces healthy food for human beings and animals. In general, soils contain the property to supply air, water and nutrients available to the roots. But nowadays we observe a decline in arable land due to heavy soil erosion, leaching and poor soil management, salinization and other factors.    

Plants use the nutrients from the soil and when died decomposed by the microorganisms that returns the nutrients to the soil. But in farming, the crops are removed after harvest that makes the soil to loose its  nutrients. For maintaining nutrient levels in soil we need to train farmers to apply sources such as organic manure, fertilizers etc to improve soil quality.
